Overview
The Business Development Manager for EU Communications is responsible for contributing to and owning selected European and local communications new business opportunities (RFIs and RFPs). With regards to local opportunities, the focus will lie on UK, France and Germany. In this role, the BD Manager will support the EU Communications BD team as well as the account teams.

Responsibilities
  • Support RFP process managing timelines, stakeholder contributions, tollgates outcomes, curating content, deck development, rehearsals
  • Own solution design and process management for selected RFPs assigned by the Director of Business Development Communications EU
  • Support RFIs managing timelines, stakeholder contributions, creating and curating content, response development
  • Own and drive selected RFIs assigned by the Director Business Development Communications EU
  • Collaborate with business units and central functions (creative, research, digital HR, legal, finance) to develop the best possible solution
  • Create content based on his specific communications experience
  • Plan, develop and deliver selected BD initiatives assigned by the Director of Business Development Communications EU
  • Drive salesforce.com compliance and consistency of usage as primary data source
  • Develop appropriate, timely and accurate reports as required


Job Requirements
  • Extensive business development experience, new business and organic, within a healthcare agency setting is essential
  • A strong Med Comms background with significant knowledge in PR and Advertising is preferred
  • Consultative and analytical approach with excellent communication skills
  • Confident in delivering presentations, internal and external
  • Goal orientated with strong pitching experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills
