The primary purpose of the Senior Account Executive is to support the account team on the day-to-day running of client accounts.  This may include, but is not limited to: being a trusted point of contact for the client; developing timelines; estimates; budget control; assisting the trafficking of work through the creative services department and the writing of media materials. This will provide a solid grounding in servicing our clients needs to a high level of excellence.


Client Services Management

• Deliver solid tactical & administrative processes
• Support account team in the delivery of excellent client service
• Confident in managing clients’ regulatory review processes and systems
• Builds understanding of the execution of marketing and communications plans

Product/Task Leadership & Accountability

• Build a reputation for effective and reliable delivery of multiple high-quality projects and written materials
• Confident in the execution of process-driven activities and delivers high quality project management
• Keep track of deadlines
• Become the team go-to person for successful project management, staying on top of all details and timelines
• Deliver consistent quality work, with proactive, effective & efficient results that meet or exceed client expectations

Business Management

• Establish knowledge of  the agency’s business operations, shared services, and other divisions
• Develop knowledge of budgeting and invoicing process
• Continue to build core public relation skills
• Continue developing understanding of the overall healthcare industry
• Support senior team in the development of existing client or new business proposals

Team Orientation/Collaboration

• Provide team support as required, working with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Exhibit enthusiasm and a willingness to learn internal disciplines
• Share information and ideas with others to enable them to accomplish team goals
• Continue to be a proactive team player
• Coach and support entry level team members

Job Requirements

• Degree educated with experience working in healthcare communications
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to flex style according to the needs of clients and teams
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Working knowledge of pharma regulations (ABPI)
• Up-to-date knowledge and capability in all main software packages, including Microsoft Office
