Our Medical Communications team delivers across a spectrum of work with the aim of translating complex science into compelling messages that deliver value and action. Our credentialed Medical Education Consultants provide clients with strategic insight and innovative medical communications solutions for even the most complex products and diseases. We provide content that can be syndicated across all media and channels to deliver solutions to enhance patient care.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the account team on the day to day running of our client accounts. This will include responsibilities such as, timing plans, estimates, budget control and assisting the trafficking of work through the creative services department.

All the above will provide a solid grounding in servicing our clients needs to a high level of excellence.


Client Services Management

•Excel at tactical & admin processes & be able to train & oversee junior staff in this area
•Have established positive relationships with low and mid-level clients
•Build understanding of strategic, creative & digital planning & executions, including recognising who and when to involve the appropriate experts within the team
•Support senior team members on research for pitches and new proposals

Product Task/Leadership & Accountability

•Drive the day-to-day project management of all assigned projects within an account and be the primary point of contact for clients and specified external suppliers on those projects
•Proactively communicate deadlines
•Organise and arrange project-related, client, KOL, and internal meetings; manage all aspects of attendee requirements
•Drive the development of small accounts or individual assigned projects by recommending commercially relevant communication solutions and/or vehicles, and thus contributing to organic business growth
•Work closely with the rest of the team to set up new systems/processes, as required, to optimally manage the account(s)
•Project manage all assigned projects to agreed financial ratios and in line with project specifications
•Begin to develop accurate budget proposals for assigned projects and be accountable for monitoring time and costs throughout project delivery and the reconciliation process
•Contribute to the management of client issues regarding costs

Business Management

•Participate/present in client and new business presentations
•Supervise client’s internal regulatory review process
•Take ownership for flawless execution of all business/financial deliverables
•Apply business & financial acumen to all projects, understanding how/when to identify & flag issues
•Demonstrate solid understanding of medical communications
•Understand the healthcare industry and begin to apply to day-to-day work
•Responsible for accurate input of all hours worked onto timesheets on a daily basis for self

Job Requirements

•Degree educated
•Good organizational and administration skills
•Strong communications skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Strong attention to detail and good proof reading skills
•Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
•Ability to use Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
