The primary purpose of the role is to be a partner to our clients and to deliver client service excellence by leading by example. In addition to  driving high levels of satisfaction and seeking out new business opportunities as the main senior point of contact. 

Focus would be on ensuring smooth running of client services teams and accountability for meeting the business objectives of the clients both strategically and financially. Would be seen as a key ambassador for the company and it’s values



•Oversee and lead the Account Groups in order to manage and grow existing client accounts
•Develop commercial opportunities with existing clients maximising account and revenue growth
•Build a pipeline of future work and ensure that the company’s client revenue target is achieved
•Support the identification and conversion of new business opportunities
•Input into the strategic direction and associated tactics of client accounts based on a strong understanding of their marketing and business objectives
•Obtain client feedback and drive increases in client satisfaction and engagement
•Manage tracking and reporting of revenue and resourcing to support team growth
•Negotiate beneficial and competitive budgets with clients and procurement teams
•Manage tracking and reporting of performance to ensure team accountability and quality of service
•Identifies opportunities for business across the agencies family and participates in cross business pitches
•Provide strategic guidance to team to enable successful project execution & identify & address potential issues
•Responsible for leading a number of account teams, including the establishment and maintenance of quality standards, cost efficiency and working practices
•Actively input into the development of our business strategy based on an understanding of the medical communications market and client service management
•Promote the company’s purpose and vision and ownership of its values and strategic objectives
•Contribute to the development of a culture that enjoys the challenge of meeting stretching financial and performance targets
•Be responsible for self-development and to participate in the company performance development process
•Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and standards
•Responsible for accurate input of all hours worked onto timesheets on a daily basis for self and teams

Job Requirements

•Degree Educated within a scientific discipline (or equivalent) 
•Strong communications skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Strong attention to detail and good proof reading skills
•Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
•Able to lead a team effectively and manage upwards
•Demonstrates strong leadership skills
•Able to demonstrate influencing skills and abilities
•Good Financial & commercial acumen
•Knowledge of pharma regulations (ABPI)
•Ability to use Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
