The Business Analytics Manager is a dedicated client leadership role, working as a business partner in close collaboration with the VP Commercial, European Country Leaders and U.S. Functional experts. This role takes responsibility for delivery of analytical and reporting services across the European pharmaceutical Field Sales teams as part of a broader EUCAN Project Team, launching a 1st in class product with new MoA. The BA Manager will work with Sales and Operational Leadership to understand field/customer business objectives, design and configure reports and dashboards, and administer ongoing territory alignments, reporting and incentive compensation payouts. ensure the usability of customer, territory, and sales information to drive field effectiveness through incentive compensation administration, reporting dashboards, and territory analysis.

Responsibilities


• Lead on clearly defining the client and internal business reporting objectives
• Act as the primary client contact for reporting, including requirements gathering, report development, testing, deployment/training, and end-user support for reporting deliverables
• Deliver analytics of in-market data at national and subnational level, Sales Force Effectiveness analytics, reporting monitoring and evaluation of KPIs Forecasting, Multichannel KPI measuring, and managing primary market research to support the European project
• Participate in Incentive Compensation (IC) design discussions and data requirements, with responsibility for ongoing calculation and administration of Scorecard and Payout reporting per approved IC plan documents
• Participate in Targeting & Alignment design discussions and data requirements, with responsibility for administration of ongoing adjustments per agreed upon business rules
• Business Partnership with internal project leadership, deployment solutions leadership and client stakeholders
• Work with external Software vendors and internal support teams to understand software capabilities, limitations, and preferred formatting/functionality to direct client requirements and recommendations

Job Requirements

• BA/BSc in Business, Finance or Data Analytics
• Analytics & reporting experience in support of client or internal business unit, preferably in Pharmaceutical Sales environment
• Fluent in English, with other European languages preferable
• In-depth knowledge, experience and efficiency in multiple reporting tools, data sets including Excel, PowerPoint, BI Solutions, warehousing databases and CRM systems e.g., Veeva, Salesforce.com
• Have a strong data intuition and be a data-driven problem solver with the ability to decipher specific trends and communicate these to the relevant stakeholders via dash-board visualisation and be innovative in approach
• Understanding of therapeutic areas optional but an awareness of Country codes of conduct e.g., ABPI and IPHA Codes required
• Excellent project management skills in supporting clients or internal business unit (either in vendor services role or internal business unit support)
• Strong client relationship management skills and interpersonal skills that enable interaction across a range of stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
